Morning: Palaces Before the Heat and Crowds

Start by 9am at the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century vizier’s residence with painted cedar ceilings and quiet garden courtyards — it gets crowded by mid-morning, so an early visit is worth the alarm clock. From there it’s a short walk to the Saadian Tombs, then loop toward the Kasbah mosque area.
