Our Essaouira airport transfer meets you at Essaouira-Mogador Airport (ESU), about 15 km from town, and drives you in 20 to 25 minutes to your riad, hotel or surf house. Cars cannot enter the medina, so your driver stops at the nearest gate — Bab Sbaa or Bab Marrakech — and helps you with your bags.

About 15 kilometres south of the town, roughly twenty minutes to the medina or the beach hotels.
Most flights go to Marrakech. Can I transfer from there?
Yes, and most travellers do. Marrakech to Essaouira is about 190 kilometres and takes two and a half to three hours, with a stop at an argan cooperative if you want one.
Can a car reach my riad in the Essaouira medina?
The Essaouira medina is small and largely car-free, so the driver stops at the nearest gate and walks you in. Distances inside the walls are short, unlike Fes or Marrakech.
Do you cover transfers to Agadir or Taghazout?
Yes. Essaouira to Agadir is about two and a half hours down the coast road, and Taghazout and Imsouane are on the same route.
Is the price fixed for the road transfer?
Yes, agreed at booking with no surcharge for luggage, waiting or traffic. Payment is in cash on the day in dirhams or euros.
Can I add stops on the Marrakech to Essaouira drive?
Yes. The usual stops are an argan oil cooperative and a viewpoint over the argan groves, and they add about half an hour in total.
